Admission to the Conservatory of Tolima: Music Tests and how to Prepare
At the Conservatory of Tolima, Master of Music and Master of Music have quite different tests: one tour about your audition and the other about your musical aptitude. We explain both.
The Conservatorio del Tolima, a public institution of Ibagué, offers two pregrades of music with 10 semesters: Master in Music and Bachelor of Music. their current admissions guidelines (agreements 16 and 17 of 2022, linked from the pages of each program) define very different evidence for each.
For Master in Music, your audition weighs 60% and it's elimination. For Licenciatura there's no instrument audition: they weigh musical aptitude, theory, a lectowrite test and interview. In both cases you need a weighted note of 3.5 out of 5 to be admitted.

The hearing is the most important criterion and phase out: with a weighted note less than 3.0 you cannot be admitted.
